Canadian actor who played Jason Seaver on the popular television show Growing Pains and also had his own talk show, The Alan Thicke Show.

He married his first wife, Gloria Loring, in 1970. He had three sons: Brennan Thicke, Carter Thicke, and singer-songwriter Robin Thicke, of “Blurred Lines” fame.
