Pulitzer Prize-winning imagist poet who is known for free-verse works such as What’s O’Clock and East Wind. Her earlier poetry collections include Men, Women and Ghosts; Sword Blades and Poppy Seed; and Can Grande’s Castle.
Her brother, Abbott Lawrence Lowell, served as President of Harvard College.
