Starred in the television series Huff as Byrd Huffstodt and portrayed the character Chekov in the 2009 and 2013 Star Trek films. He also appeared in Fright Night and Terminator Salvation and voiced Clumsy Smurf in the 2011 film The Smurfs. His final film was the 2018 thriller Thoroughbreds.
