Former defenseman who played with the St. Louis Blues and New York Rangers. While playing with the St. Louis Blues, he and his teammates made it to three straight Stanley Cup Finals from 1967-1970. 

He was born in a hockey family. His father Gus worked for the Northern Ontario Hockey Association as a chief official.  His brothers, Bill and Barclay, also played in the NHL. In fact, they all played together with the St. Louis Blues from 1968 to 1972.
