Greek painter and sculptor with a highly successful career that spanned six decades. He was awarded the Croix de Chevalier de la Légion d’honneur.

He dabbled in crafts and for a time worked as a carpenter making furniture while studying technical design.

He won the Gran Prix d’Antoine Pevsner in 1998.

His parents were Greeks who emigrated to Brazil.
