New Jersey-born poet and author who is remembered for such sensual poetry collections as Angels and Earthly Creatures and Nets to Catch the Wind. Her novels include The Venetian Glass Nephew and The Orphan Angel.
She had a series of marriages and high profile affairs and finally wed Pulitzer Prize-winning poet William Rose Benet in 1923.
