Austrian-American poet who received the 2004 Pulitzer Prize for Walking to Martha’s Vineyard. His other poetry collections include Kindertotenwald, God’s Silence, and The Beforelife.

His father, James Wright, was also a Pulitzer Prize-winning poet. He married Elizabeth Oehlkers in 1999.
