Civil rights leader, ordained minister, businessman, philanthropist, scientist, and politician who was famously a part of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s inner circle during the 1960’s Civil Rights Movement.

He had four sons and four daughters with his wife Juanity Terry. Their names were: Hosea L. Williams II, Andre Williams, Torrey Williams, Hyron Williams, Barbara Emerson, Elizabeth Omilami, Yolanda Favors, and Jaunita Collier.
