Born Dolores Janney Rivera, she became immortalized for her 2008 album Jenni, which hit #1 on the US Billboard 200. She died in a plane crash in 2012. 

She was born to Rosa Rivera and music producer Pedro Rivera. She had five siblings named Lupillo, Juan, Rosie, Pedro Jr. and Gustavo. She was married three times, to Jose Trinidad Marin, Juan Lopez and Esteban Loaiza. She had five children named Chiquis, Jenicka, Jacqie, Johnny and Michael.
