Baseball coach who was known as the head coach for Orange Coast College for 27 years. A four time state junior college champion and named the national coach of the year by the American Baseball Coaches Association in 2019, he was tragically killed in the January 2020 helicopter crash that also claimed Kobe Bryant’s life.
He passed alongside his wife Keri and daughter Alyssa in the 2020 helicopter crash. He was survived by his son J.J. and daughter Alexis.
