Race car driver remembered as one of the true legends of Canadian racing, having set more than 50 world records and becoming the first Canadian to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. He was one of the early faces of the Bentley care company and was inducted into the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame.

He married the nurse who treated him for his injuries sustained in the Third Battle of Ypres.
