Most well known for her early 1980s Platinum single “Gloria,” she is also remembered for her hit songs “Solitaire” and “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You.” In addition, she was featured on the soundtracks of Ghostbusters, Flashdance, and Baywatch.

A native of Brewster, New York, she died suddenly in her late forties of a cerebral aneurysm.
