Her trim figure and youthful air made her a rival of Mary Pickford for child roles until both women were well into their 30s. She starred in the 1916 version of Snow White, which so impressed Walt Disney, that he decided to reprise the story for his first feature cartoon.
She married Harry Palmerson Williams in 1918, and when her contract ended a year later, she retired from show business.
