Actress who became known for her roles in such B-movies as I Accuse My Parents (1944), Waterfront at Midnight (1948), and The Devil’s Henchman (1949). In the 70s she had a regular role on the Red Skelton Show.

She was discovered in her early teens by a professional theater director and was subsequently cast in a theatrical tour of Alice in Wonderland.

Her television credits include appearances on Dragnet, The Abbott and Costello Show, The Red Skelton Show, and Dennis the Menace.

Personal Life

She was married three times– to actor Ted North, actor/singer David Street, and talent manager Nicky Stewart– and had one son, Donald North.

She co-starred with John Barrymore in the 1940 film, The Great Profile.
