Dramatic actor best known for playing the shotgun-bearing street thug Omar Little on HBO’s The Wire. He also played Chalky White on Boardwalk Empire and Bobby McCray in the mini-series When They See Us. He appeared in such films as 12 Years a Slave, The Road, Kill the Messenger, Inherent Vice and Ghostbusters.

He was born to an African-American father and a Bahamian mother. He had a son named Elijah.
