Miguel Ferrer, whose deep voice and intense performances made him a standout in Twin Peaks and NCIS, has died at 61.

Miguel Ferrer was an American actor and voice-over artist with a net worth of $4 million at the time of his death. He was born in Santa Monica, California, and raised in Hollywood—the heart of the film and television industry.
Some of his memorable roles include Bob Morton in RoboCop (1987), Vice President Rodriguez in Iron Man 3 (2013), and Albert Rosenfield in Twin Peaks (1990–1991, 2017).
He was also a frequent voice actor on Seth Green’s TV series Robot Chicken and voiced Shan Yu (the menacing leader of the Huns) in Disney’s Mulan (1998).
Personal life
Miguel Ferrer was married twice and had three sons. His first marriage was to actress Leilani Sarelle in 1991, with whom he had two sons: Lukas (born in 1993) and Rafael (born in 1996). The couple divorced in 2003. In 2005, Ferrer married film producer Lori Weintraub, and they remained together until his death in 2017.

Ferrer also had a son, Jose Robert Dornan, born in 2004 from a previous relationship with Kate Dornan.
Ferrer came from a well-known Hollywood family—his father was the legendary actor José Ferrer, and his mother was singer Rosemary Clooney, making him the cousin of actor George Clooney. With an Academy Award-winning father and a mother who was also an actress, it’s no wonder Miguel Ferrer became a star.

He died on January 19, 2017, at his home in Santa Monica, California. He was 61. The caues of death was throat cancer.
His final resting place is next to his father at Santa Maria Magdalena de Pazzis Cemetery in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
