Mississippi singer and guitarist who is known as the King of the Delta Blues and who sang songs like “When You Got a Good Friend.”
He married Virginia Travis in 1929 and he had a child with Vergie Mae Smith while living in Martinsville. He married Caletta Craft in 1931.
