Best remembered for her starring role in the 1932 film Million Dollar Legs, this early 20th-century American actress also appeared in an uncredited role in the 1936 musical movie The Great Ziegfeld.
She was married to comedian Harpo Marx from 1936 until his death in 1964. She and Marx raised four adopted children.
She died at age 94 on December 22, 2002, of a heart attack at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage.
