Comedian known for starring on The Carol Burnett Show and for his role as Ensign Charles Parker on the sitcom McHale’s Navy. He also provided the voice for Barnacle Boy on the animated TV series SpongeBob SquarePants.

He married Mary Anne Dalton in 1961 and they had seven children together before divorcing. He married Charlene Fusco in 1984.
