Singer who has won much acclaim as a founding member of the Grammy-winning vocal group The Manhattan Transfer, who formed in 1972. The band was voted Best Vocal Group by readers of Downbeat Magazine every year in the 80’s.
He founded the doo wop group The Criterions at age 15.
He attended St. Rose High School, where an award given to the most exceptional theatre students was founded in his name in 1989.
