Early Disney animator and cartoonist who drew the first images of Mickey Mouse; winner of two Academy Awards. Also famous for his Flip the Frog character that was produced through his short-lived Iwerks Studio.
He was the father of Disney legend Don Iwerks and the grandfather of documentary film producer Leslie Iwerks.
