White Unitarian Universalist civil rights activist who became a martyr for her cause when she was murdered by the Ku Klux Klan after the Selma to Montgomery marches.
She married and divorced at the age of 16, then married George Argyris and had two children; she later married Anthony Liuzzo and had three more children.
