American technical analytic tool innovator and finance trader who is known for developing Gann angles, Square of 9, Hexagon, and Circle of 360.

He studied the ancient Greek and Egyptian cultures and was a 33rd degree Freemason of the Scottish Rite Order. Both are possibilities of how he gained a vast understanding of ancient mathematics.

He wrote a good amount of texts about the stock market including Truth of the Stock Tape, How to Make Profits in Commodities, and WD Gann Economic Forecaster.

He was born in in Lufkin, Texas and a father who worked as a cotton farmer.
