A theater actor who has performed in plays such as The Owl and the Pussycat and Henry V. He has also appeared in films such as The Fourth Protocol, The Day of the Jackal, and Scrooge.

He married his second wife, Elizabeth Garvie, in 1983.

He became a patron of the Angles Theatre, Wisbech. Rogers died of a heart attack on 1 December 2007.
