Antagonist in both 1980’s Mad Max and 2015’s Mad Max: Fury Road who portrayed Toecutter and Immortan Joe in the films, respectively. He also portrayed Toad in a 1974 movie called Stone.

He earned parts in numerous Royal Shakespeare Company productions between 1968 and 1972.

He landed the role of Grunchik in the sci-fi series Farscape.

He was born to British parents in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India. He moved to Britain as a child.
