Famous the world over as the lead singer of popular doo-wop group The Skyliners. He rose to fame for penning their popular single “Since I Don’t Have You” in 1959, and would sing with the group until his death in October 2017. 

He was originally born and raised in the Knoxville neighborhood of Pittsburgh.
