Suave actor who played Latin Lover roles, including Manuel Gomez in the 1960 fantasy-adventure film, The Lost World. His roles in Dangerous When Wet, Kill a Dragon, and 100 Rifles brought him additional acclaim.

He began acting on stage in musicals like Rich Young and Pretty, and was signed to MGM to appear in many of their musicals.
