Jack Palance was an acclaimed American actor recognized for his portrayals of rugged characters and antagonists.

Palance won an Oscar with his comedic self-parody in 1991’s City Slickers. He did one-handed push-ups at age 73 after receiving his Academy Award, making the audience go wild! He was inducted into the Western Performers Hall of Fame in 1992.

He acted alongside his son, Cody Palance, in the film, Young Guns.
