Who is Teresa Brewer?

Teresa Brewer, known as “the little girl with the big voice,” soared to the top of the 1950s hit parade with her lively, upbeat songs. In the 1970s, she reinvented herself as a jazz singer.

She is known for hits like the #1 hits “Music! Music! Music!” and “Till I Waltz Again With You.”

She married William Monahan in 1949 and the couple had four daughters. After their divorce in 1972, she married record producer Bob Thiele and gained a stepson in Robert Thiele Jr.

Cause of death

According to Bill Munroe, a spokesperson and friend to the family, Brewer died of a rare degenerative brain disease, more precisely the neuromuscular disease progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP). She passed away at her home on Pinebrook Boulevard in New Rochelle, New York, aged 76.

Funeral

The pop singer was a member of Jesus Roman Catholic Church in New Rochelle, consequently, the funeral was held there. Her cremated remains were given to one of her daughters.
