Cowboy star who played Grandpa McCoy on The Real McCoys. He, Daniel Day-Lewis, and Jack Nicholson are the first three men to win three Oscar Awards.

He married Ruth Wells in 1920. Their relationship lasted until he died in 1974.

Brennan missed a lot of his teeth. Apparently, he lost a bunch of them during an accident in a film shoot in 1932. Some claimed he had been kicked in the mouth by a mule.
